Objectives

• Keep regular contacts to Umweltbundesamt (UBA)

• Monitor emission regulation initiative and corresponding test procedures and the position of the German national delegation 

• Maintain and support regular contact between ATC and German Competent Authorities

• Keep contact with Verband Schmierstoff-Industrie (VSI, the German Lubricant Manufacturers Association) and UNITI

• Follow up on legislative aspects including Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS), Water hazard classes (WGK) and the Dangerous goods directive, in cooperation with HSL

• If necessary set the OEM Group up again (in cooperation with PTS) if German speakers are needed

• Monitor development of policies in Germany affecting lubricant and fuel quality and legislation
