Representational Steering Group (RSG)

The Representational Steering Group (RSG) is the managing body of the Association. The RSG has all the powers necessary for the management of the Association, in particular the development and implementation of the Association's strategies, internal policies and external representation. The Representational Steering Group (RSG) remit is to provide governance of ATC and to manage communications and maintain strategic contact with outside bodies, regulators and other industry groups.

Terms of Reference

  1. Provide governance of ATC and to manage communications and maintain strategic contact with outside bodies, regulators and other industry groups

  2. Provide guidance and approval of documents/position papers from Sub Committees

Objectives

  • Make recommendations to the Main Committee regarding the proposed admission of candidate members;

  • Propose the suspension or exclusion of members to the Main Committee;

  • Propose the appointment of the Secretary General, the President and/or the Vice-President to the Main Committee;

  • Prepare and submit draft annual accounts for the previous financial year and the draft budget of the following financial year for approval to the Main Committee;

  • Control the implementation of the budget approved by the Main Committee;

  • Set up and dissolve sub-committees, working groups and ad hoc groups;

  • Make decisions on all matters not expressly reserved to the Main Committee or any other corporate body of the Association by the Articles of Association, the internal regulations or;

  • the Law on Non-Profit Associations;

  • Approve technical positions of the Association which can be used externally; and develop communication and stakeholder engagement strategy of the Association.
