ATC Committees

The ATC organisation consists of a main committee, who meet three times a year and determine policy and strategic issues, and working committees.

Main Committee

The ATC Main Committee is the general governing body of the Association comprising a representative of each full and associate member.

FAG

Fuel Additives Group

FAG is a subcommittee of the ATC dealing with issues relating to fuel quality, transport and the environment impacting the fuel additives business. The committee reviews transport and fuel developments within Europe, assesses current and proposed legislation.

HSL

Health and Safety Legislation Sub-committee

The Health and Safety Committee (HSL) deals with matters relating to Health, Safety and the Environment, as well as European Legislation issues relating to Petroleum Additives.

IWG

Industrial (products) Working Group

Deals with issues relating to industrial lubricant additives business. The committee reviews technical developments within Europe, assesses current and proposed legislation.

PTS

Performance Testing Sub-Committee

PTS is a subcommittee of the ATC dealing with issues relating to lubricant quality, transport and the environment impacting the lubricant additives business. The committee reviews transport and lubricant developments within Europe, assesses current and proposed specifications and legislation.

QMWG

Quality Monitoring Working Group

QMWG's function is to administer the ATC Code of Practice. The code is intended to aid continuous improvement in the development of engine lubricants and the consistency and validity of performance claims made for them.

RSG

Representational Steering Group

The representational steering group (RSG) remit is to provide governance of ATC and to manage communications and maintain strategic contact with outside bodies, regulators and other industry groups.

TAD

German Committee

The TAD group maintains contact in Germany for questions relating to transport, fuel and lubricant developments.

SSC

Sustainability Sub Committee

ATC members produce innovative lubricant and fuel additives that are essential in delivering a sustainable future for EU's societal and economic wellbeing.

Reach Consortium

The REACH Consortium Steering Committee consists of a sub-group of ATC member companies with the specific objective “to co-operate and progress the REACH registration of substances of common interest to its membership”.
